Lizette started preschool on August 31 this year. She goes to Little Joys Academy which is just around the corner from our house. I think this will be a great year for her in preschool. Her teachers, Mrs. Lawson and Mrs. Hurdman are so sweet and they have the cutest school set up. All the kids have their own cubbies, backpacks and t-shirts. They have lots of fun programs for reading as well as Ask Me About cards. Each day, Lizette will bring home a card that explains a little about the main topic of discussion at preschool so that we can discuss it as well. So far, Lizette has had one homework assignment which was to read a book and give her opinion of it. She was very worried about getting her homework done so we are off to a good start!
Unfortunately, our chickenpox episode has caused Lizette to miss this last week of school, so she will have some catching up to do. She has been very bummed to have to miss so much school!
