The Perfect Storm

If you are at all interested in getting in on some of the great coupon deals that are out there, this is a great month to start.

There are scenarios that come up every so often at Albertson's, which I like to call "The Perfect Storm" in couponing. It's when they are having a great sale; they have double coupons in their ad; they offer a $$ off of your next shopping order if you purchase a certain amount; and, you have great coupons to begin with! This is where the really great deals at Albertson's come from.

I've heard that for most of this month they are going to have a CHILL promo going on frozen foods. If you buy 10 items, you get $10 off your next shopping order. Several coupons for the items that are on sale can be found at coupons.com or elsewhere online. (See other coupon blogs for links if you are interested.) So even if you haven't been getting the paper and don't have a huge stockpile of coupons, you can still get in on this deal. Hopefully, they will come out with more double coupons in the next couple of Sunday papers so the deal will be even better. Check out the coupon blogs for lots of updates on this deal and scenarios if you are interested!

One more thing: If you buy fruit snacks for your kids, go to Albertson's and see if they have any Betty Crocker fruit snacks left. They are on sale for $1 per box through Tuesday, 3/9. You can print $.50 off two coupons at coupons.com right now. Plus, if you buy five boxes, you get $3.50 back off your next shopping order. So, spend $4.00 (if you use coupons), and get $3.50 back. If you want more than five boxes, you can turn right around and use that $3.50 coupon along with two, $.50 off two coupons on another five boxes, pay $.50, and get another $3.50 coupon back. Confusing? Check out the Fabulessly Frugal site to see the breakdown. That's where I got the tip!
