Lizette's "Pink Blanket" is and always has been her absolute favorite. Luckily, we received two as gifts when she was born. So, when one is dirty or lost, we have a back up. She loves it when she manages to find both of them. It's like winning the blanky lottery for her.

Lizette is a sponge as all three year olds are. Preschool and her Sunbeam class at church are so good for her. Getting comfortable in social situations still takes quite a bit of time for her. I'm glad that she is making friends that she sees all the time.

The other day we were tickling each other. She gets a kick out of it when I scream and tell her to stop tickling me. When I finally calmed down, she said "I'm proud of you, mom." It struck me as so funny. I couldn't stop laughing. We both sat there and laughed together for so long.

Without knowing it, she completely flipped Jeff off the other day. She was showing him her owie that happened to be on her middle finger. You really had to be there, but we both had to laugh at how she was so blatantly "giving him the bird".

Lexi fell asleep this way the other day. So funny and cute.

Lexi is getting to be more and more playful every day. She loves, loves, loves her toys. She grabs them and shakes them around like nobody's business. She also enjoys grabbing and pulling my hair. Ouch! She's a strong little thing.

Now that we are past the colicky, fussy, whatever that was stage, I think she is the best baby ever. Sleeps through the night consistently. Wakes up happy. Is almost always smiley unless she is hungry or tired. She loves to laugh and play. Totally cooperative during bath time, changing time, feedings, trips to the grocery store...I can't even believe it! After what we went through the first few months, I thought for sure she was going to be my "difficult" child. (Sorry Lexi!)
